Discover a region of Belgium that saw some of the worst fighting of World War I. We shall retrace the actions of soldiers who fought in the Great War from our base in the famous City of Peace, Ypres. We will walk portions of the Ypres Salient with the assistance of a local guide, and we will witness the moving Last Post ceremony, which honours the fallen. We will also take pleasure in a guided tour of UNESCO-listed Bruges, one of Europe's best-preserved cities, which features mediaeval squares and canals.
